1. Where we start from
At Edugenia we use artificial intelligence responsibly, to strengthen teaching rather than to replace it. Three principles guide how we apply it.
- What is most valuable in teachers is their ability to teach. Technology should free teaching staff from repetitive administrative work so they can spend more time connecting with their students and supporting learning.
- The teacher guides the content. They keep control over what is taught and how. The AI carries out their pedagogical intent; it does not replace their professional judgement.
- Content rests on trustworthy sources. We work with information that is checked and referenced, to sustain educational quality and transparency.
2. What we commit to
Transparency. We are clear about when and how AI is used on the platform. Anyone using Edugenia always knows which content was generated with AI assistance.
The teacher decides. The last word is theirs. Alongside the creation tools, we give control over the result: everything generated can be reviewed and edited before it is published.
Educational quality. We invest in the models and processes that sustain that quality. AI has limits; we accept them and design the tools to make up for them.
Edugenia’s AI management is certified to ISO/IEC 42001. Its scope is set out on the security and trust page.
3. Human review before publishing
Edugenia prepares a first version of the course from the sources the teaching team provides. That version needs reviewing: checking concepts, examples and activities, correcting mistakes and weighing up possible bias before it is used with students.
The certification attests to how we manage AI; it does not validate the content of each course.
4. Your content and your data
You keep the rights over your materials and can adapt, share and sell them. Neither Edugenia nor our AI providers use your materials, instructions or generated content to train models.

5. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the AI features, in the models or providers used and in the applicable rules. We will publish the updated version on this page with the date of its revision.
