1. Purpose and access
These terms of use govern the use of Edugenia, the platform for creating and managing training content run by Innovaforma Canarias, S.L., and the purchase of credits for its services.
Edugenia is aimed mainly at academies, companies and professionals who create training content, and individuals may also contract in their own name. If you contract on behalf of another person or entity, you must have sufficient authority to do so.
You must be at least 18 years old to create or use an author account or to contract Edugenia’s services.
Whether you are a consumer or a business is determined by the applicable rules and the purpose of the contract. Buying in your own name does not in itself mean acting as a consumer. Where you are legally a consumer, the mandatory rights you are entitled to will be respected, and nothing in these terms waives them.
Browsing the public pages is free and does not require registration. To work on the platform you need an account and access to a workspace, called an “academy” in Edugenia. You can save or print these terms from your browser.
2. Account and permitted use
You must provide truthful information, keep it up to date and protect your sign-in credentials. If you act on behalf of an academy or other organisation, you must be authorised for the actions you take.
The academy manages its members’ permissions and access to its content. Removing a member’s access does not delete the academy or the courses saved in its workspace.
Use Edugenia lawfully and with respect for the rights of others. You may not get around access controls, introduce malicious code, interfere with the service or use it to create or distribute unlawful content.
Deleting your account
You can start deleting your account from the settings, after confirming your identity. If you do not own an academy, the deletion is processed automatically and you lose access to the platform with that account.
If you own an academy, this option opens a support request to arrange a change of owner or the closure of the academy. Sending the request does not delete your account. This process does not limit your data protection rights or extend the legal time limits for dealing with them.
The academy’s courses that you managed become managed by its owner. This reassignment does not change authorship or the rights over the content, which are governed by the applicable agreements and rules.

3. Demos and commercial information
The demo lets you try the service with limited credits. The published examples show what it can do; results and times may vary depending on the materials and the operation requested. This does not limit the specific commitments included in an offer or contract.
The initial link to activate the demo expires after 2 hours. This period applies to the access link, not to how long the account lasts or how long courses are kept.
4. Purchases and credits
Some Edugenia features use credits. Purchases are processed through a payment service provider, in euros, and require the billing details of the person or entity contracting. Purchases and the balance are linked to the workspace. The workspace’s name does not determine who the customer is or whether they are a consumer or a business.
Credits do not expire.
5. Rights, use and responsibility for content
You keep the rights over the materials you provide. As a customer, you can use, modify, download, distribute and sell the content you generate with Edugenia. Edugenia does not claim ownership of that content.
You are responsible for the lawfulness of the materials you provide and for holding the rights and permissions needed to use them. If they contain personal data, you must have a legal basis for processing it, provide the required information and obtain any consents that are needed. If you work for an academy or other organisation, ownership and use of the content among its members are governed by its agreements and the applicable rules.
You authorise Edugenia to host and process your content to the extent needed to provide the service. See the information about hosting and international transfers.
When we process personal data in that content on behalf of your academy, we follow its instructions and meet the data protection obligations that apply to us. Your responsibility for the materials you provide does not exclude our own obligations. How that data is kept and how to exercise your rights are explained in the privacy policy.
Artificial intelligence is a tool that supports teaching work. You can review and edit the results before deciding how to use them. Generated content may contain errors or be incomplete; Edugenia does not guarantee that it is error-free or suitable for every purpose. You must check its accuracy, suitability and lawfulness before using, sharing or publishing it.
References and links to external sources that appear in the content do not in themselves imply a commercial relationship with their owners or their endorsement of Edugenia. Reviewing includes checking that the sources cited exist and support the information attributed to them.
You are responsible for how you use the content. To the extent permitted by law, Edugenia is not liable for damage attributable to your misuse of the content or to your failure to review it. This limitation does not exclude Edugenia’s liability for breaching its own obligations or the rights the law gives you.
6. Availability, questions and changes
The service may need maintenance or updates.

We may revise these terms to reflect changes in Edugenia’s features or in the applicable rules. We will publish the updated version on this page with the date of its revision.
Changes to these terms will respect acquired rights and the information and acceptance requirements that apply.
