What does a code like SSCE0110 or ADGD0013 mean?
It is the official code of a programme published by the BOE or the SEPE: a professional certificate, a training specialisation or a training module. SSCE0110 is the certificate "Docencia de la formación profesional para el empleo", 380 hours and six modules; ADGD0013 is a 44-hour specialisation. In the catalogue you can search any code and open its page with the professional family, level, duration and modules.
Do the courses start from the official programme of the professional certificate?
Yes. Each catalogue page reproduces the structure of the official programme published in the BOE or by the SEPE, with its modules and hours, and links to the original document. When you create the course from the page, Edugenia uses that structure as the starting point; your team supplies the materials the content comes from. From a certificate, you pick one of its modules to create the demo course.
How many hours does a course have and how is it split into modules?
The duration is set by the official programme and appears on each catalogue page. Published programmes range from 4 to 1,200 hours, with a median of 120. Professional certificates are divided into training modules, each with its own hours: SSCE0110, for example, adds up to 380 hours across six modules. The page shows that structure and links to the official programme in PDF so you can check it.
Can I search SEPE programmes by sector, for example electricity or construction?
Yes. The catalogue is organised into 27 professional families, among them "Electricidad y electrónica" and "Edificación y obra civil", each with its own page. Within the catalogue you can filter by source (BOE or SEPE), by type (certificates, specialisations or training modules) and by family, and search by name, code or content. Each result opens the programme's page with its duration and modules.
Does Edugenia teach courses?
No. Edugenia is a platform for creating and managing training content, aimed at academies, training centres, companies and professionals who produce their own courses. It is not a training centre and does not enrol students. The catalogue is there to locate the official programme and create the course from it. If you are looking to enrol on a course, go to a centre that teaches it.
Are the programmes in the catalogue current?
The catalogue is an editorial selection of programmes published by the BOE and the SEPE. Each page states the source of the document and links to the official programme in PDF, from which its data is taken. The edition, validity and requirements of each programme must be checked at its official source before use. The catalogue is there to locate the reference; checking it is your centre's job.
Which SCORM version is exported and what does it record in the LMS?
Edugenia exports SCORM 1.2 packages. The package reports to the LMS the lesson status (incomplete or completed), a 0 to 100 score that reflects the learner's progress, and the point where they left off, so they can resume from there. It does not record session time or each interaction separately, and SCORM 2004 is not exported.
Does it work in Moodle?
Yes. The package Edugenia exports is SCORM 1.2 and Moodle accepts it as a SCORM activity. The tracking the package writes, with the lesson status, the progress score and the resume point, is built and tested on Moodle. Other platforms that accept SCORM 1.2 can import it; if you use another LMS, write to us at info@edugenia.com.
How is a course created with AI from my documents?
In four steps. You upload your documents and describe the course. In a single action, Edugenia generates a first version with the structure, text, images, video and activities. Your team reviews it in the editor and checks where every fact comes from, because the content shows its references. When you are happy with it, you publish it as a SCORM package for your LMS.
What does a generated course contain?
A complete, editable first version: the course structure, text, images, video and activities. The video for each unit includes a script, narration, presentations and animations, and can feature a teaching avatar. The activities include interactive comparisons, cards for going over vocabulary and decisions answered on the spot, as in any graded activity. Everything is reviewed and edited before export.
Can I edit the course after generating it and export it again?
Yes. What Edugenia generates is a first version: all of the content can be reviewed and edited in the editor before publishing. You can change text, images, activities and video, and check the references behind every fact. Editing and exporting the course are included from the free account onwards. Once the course has been reviewed, you export it as a SCORM 1.2 package.
Who reviews the content before publishing it?
Your team. Edugenia prepares a first version of the course from the sources the teaching team provides, and that version needs review: checking concepts, examples and activities, correcting errors and weighing possible bias before using it with learners. The teacher has the last word and decides when to publish the course and where to use it. ISO/IEC 42001 certification attests to how we manage AI, not to each course.
What is ISO/IEC 42001 certification and why does it matter to my centre?
ISO/IEC 42001 is the international standard for artificial intelligence management systems. ACCM has certified Edugenia's AI management system: an independent assessment of how we manage the AI that generates your training content. For your centre, it means working with a provider whose responsibilities and risks are defined for each AI system, which lowers your own regulatory risk and makes it easier to adapt to the EU AI Act.
Are my documents used to train AI models? Who owns the generated content?
No. Neither Edugenia nor its AI providers use your documents, instructions or generated content to train or improve artificial intelligence models. The AI services may keep copies for an ordinary maximum of 60 days to prevent misuse, under the same no-training commitment. You keep the rights to your materials and can use, modify, distribute and sell what you generate; Edugenia claims no ownership of it.
How much does it cost and is there a free trial?
Yes. The starter account includes 6 free credits with access to the whole tool, including editing and exporting the course. The usual price is €30 per credit, and one credit is roughly one hour of content. Credits do not expire, and you top up your balance from inside the application. For larger volumes, ask for a tailored proposal.
